Why Allah gave us Ramadaan

I have been wondering why Allah in His Infinite Wisdom, Mercy and Love has given me Ramadaan. I know that Allah is Most WISE, so what is the Wisdom of Ramadaan? I know that Allah is Most MERCIFUL, So what is the Mercy of this month? Therefore giving me the strength to obey HIM and stay away from that which displeases HIM. Looking even deeper, this 1 Ayah tells me that :- Allah wants me to be close to HIM He wants me to remember HIM He wants me to be a better human being He wants me, not just to be a Muslim...

 Overthinking Sometimes when the mind is in control, then a person might have looping negative thoughts... Thoughts create  feelings. Negative thoughts create negative feelings. Everytime  a negative thought comes to mind, you must take control and say to the mind  " Positive Thoughts only, please"  then while bringing a smile to your lips, take slower deeper breaths, start saying Salawaat /Durood continuously.  Salawaat has cooling and Calming properties.
