Naming a Baby

  1. Look to those who are 'minal muqaraboon' close to Allah, and make an intention that this child follows in the footstep of that person whose name you have chosen.
  2. If you dont chose any of those names then look at a name book or the internet.when looking in the book, look at the the meanings first and choose the best meaning and then look at the name itself and then make sure that name will be pronounced correctly by those in your community.
  3. Say a little prayer everyday for the character of your child as well as piety, protection, good health and the blessing of Allah.
